Elliott Walters

Elliott Walters was named the strength and conditioning coach at Palm Beach Atlantic in August of 2016. He joins the PBA staff after serving as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

At PBA, Walters will develop and coordinate strength and conditioning programs for all varsity programs including the addition of men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and men's cross country and men's and women's distance track in 2017-18. Walters will oversee the plans of the 12 current varsity programs (baseball, m/w basketball, women's cross country, m/w golf, m/w soccer, softball, m/w tennis and women's volleyball.

While at IMG Walters worked primarily with the sports of basketball, football, tennis and soccer while also assisting with track and field. He also helped to train Olympic athletes that trained at IMG and worked with multiple levels of athletes, from high school to professional.

Prior to joining the staff at IMG, Walters worked at Webber International as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. He also worked as a graduate assistant at the University of South Alabama working with the football, baseball and women's basketball programs. In addition to his work at the collegiate and prep level, Walters worked at the Parisi Speed School in Mobile, Ala. as well as at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla. He spent the 2009 summer as the head strength coach for the Florida Marlins' AA affiliate in Jacksonville, Fla.

Walters holds certifications from USA Track and Field (USATF Level 1) and the National Strength and Conditioning Assocation (certified strength and conditioning specialist) as well as a United States Olympic Weightlifting Certification. He graduated from the United States Sports Academy with a master's degree in human performance.
